S.C.R.I.P.T. is back on the scene with the second video of his career titled Where Do We Go. The young wordsmith takes us through a channel of emotions by showing a glimpse of what reality is like for children who search for a place to call home, where they can feel safe and understood. The Kids Help Phone has endorsed this video to let viewers to know that no matter what, they’re just one call away.
As sad as this video may seem, it is just as uplifting, thanks largely to the angelic vocal accompaniment of Rita Carter (courtesy of Rhythm N’Kal Entertainment). Driven by Stunnin R’s delicate piano based production, Where Do We Go brings hope back to the genre of Hip Hop Music. It proves that it is not lost and we still have artists who have not forgotten its true representation. Where Do We Go has the potential to be the song we’ve all been waiting for. Something new, something real, and what music has been missing for a few years now….something honest.
It’s been a little while since the last update, but things are happening in a big way on team SCRIPT. In this 3-part series, we take you behind the scenes of the video shoot for Where Do We Go. It’s going to be a powerful video, and this series should give you an idea of how many talented people all worked together to make it happen. In this video, SCRIPT introduces the project, talks with Dakota Roos-Adams (playing the role of Abused Boy), his Mom Helen Roos, Alison Almeida (playing the role of Abused Girl), Pam Lachance (playing the role of Bad Mother), Joe Marques (playing the role of Bad Father), and Heather Farmer (Makeup Artist).
The Where Do We Go video is coming soon, so stay tuned!
In the second part of this series, SCRIPT talks with Richard Groen (playing the role of Police Officer), Deena Fontaine (playing the role of CAS Worker), Tasha Waldron (Director), and Richard Towns (Producer)
In this final part of our behind the scenes series for the Where Do We Go video shoot, SCRIPT interviews Sean Parker (1st Assistant Director), Ben Walker (Director of Photography), Dizzy (Photographer), Dynamic (Production Assistant), and the always incredible Rita Carter (accompanying vocals).
Unfortunately the Spring Bling Ottawa Show has been canceled due to a lack of ticket sales. There’s talk of moving the concert to Toronto, so stay tuned for further updates.
On May 14th, SCRIPT will be taking his act to one of Ottawa’s biggest venues: The Civic Centre.
Bow Wow, Omarion, and Elise Estrada will be headlining the event, titled ‘Spring Bling Ottawa’. Tickets range from $39.50 (upper level) to $59.50 (lower level/floor). Get your tickets now!
